Një hap më afër edukimit mjedisor të qëndrueshëm

 A step closer to sustainable environmental education

📅In Elbasan, Kukës, Vlorë and Tirana, INCA conducted trainings on Environmental Education and Sustainable Development for teachers of 9-year schools in these regions, divided into cycles I–V and VI–IX.
These trainings were part of the activities of the European Union-funded project, EP-EACH (Environmental Protection – Education and Attitude Change).
📖The project has developed a manual for teachers, with theory and practical activities, to help them conduct environmental education classes more efficiently. The goal is to interpret educational information and create positive emotions in students, for more love and respect for the environment.🌱
🤝The project is being implemented in cooperation with the National Parks Association of Albania and with UNICEF as an associated partner. EP EACH builds on the practice and model implemented by UNICEF more than a decade ago, adapting it to current curricula and expanding it beyond grades I–V, including grades VI–IX. Today, the project aligns this experience with the latest developments and global themes such as Sustainable Development, Circular Economy and Climate Change, making it more coherent and inclusive in the engagement of teachers, parents, communities and NGOs with a focus on the environment and education.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦The project aims to strengthen the triangle of parent-school-community cooperation, with children at its center, for a change in behavior and sustainable development for today and the future. Children are the future – the politicians, investors and citizens of tomorrow.
🌍We have borrowed the environment and we will have to lend it to them, respecting and protecting it for a better life.
🎓This training is planned as a "Trainer of Trainers", empowering teachers and NGOs to become trainers themselves and share the knowledge gained with their colleagues, expanding the impact of the project in a sustainable way.
