Scientist of the next generation

NP Bredhi Hotovës-Dangëlli, 22 April 2017 - INCA in collaboration with the  Regional Administration of Protected Areas in Gjirokastra organised  the International Earth Day in the National Park  "Bredhi i Hotoves - Dangelli, together with students of "Meleq Gostnishti" school in Permet. The scope of the activity joined the international campaign  on  environmental and climate literacy. The  theme of the activity was "Scientist of the next generation" organized as a  community science approach. Children had the opportunity to actively participate together with the park administration representatives in wildlife (forest& trees) monitoring activity and learn on science facts and figures on the park. The new generation should be keen as environmental and climate literate citizen, ready to take action and be a voice for change. We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection.
