Promotion of Green Schools in Albania

On 08.05.2012, INCA, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized the meeting “Promotion of Green Schools in Albania.” At the meeting were representatives of UNICEF in Albania (Mr.Detlef PALM) Ministry of Education (Mrs.Nora MALAJ) Ministry of Environment (Mr.Taulant BINO), representatives of the Albania Mobile Communication, Institute of Education Development, representatives of Education Departments in districts, environmental organizations, civil society, teachers, friends of the environment etc. A long-term objective for the environmental education in schools establishing a network of schools that have a more environmental approach in their activities. The process is seen as an innovation that will be introduced in the form of a program for creating green schools in Albania.
