Green Librazhd – Partnership for a city free of single-use plastic!

Librazhd Municipality and the Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA) signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the BeMed+ project, aiming to reduce single-use plastic pollution, promote sustainable environmental practices, and protect the Shkumbin River.

The agreement foresees:

- Reducing the use of single-use plastics

- Improving plastic waste management

- Awareness campaigns and environmental education

- Promoting reusable alternatives

- Strengthening institutional and community cooperation

This partnership marks an important step in building a model of good practice that can serve as inspiration for other municipalities across Albania.
