When wild nature reveals its beauty

When wild nature reveals its beauty, it also brings challenges for the life that grows beside it. The shepherd, the sheep, and the bees are a living part of this ecosystem, and protecting them means protecting our traditions.

During May, the project Sustainable Grazing for the Preservation of Vital Grasslands Ecosystems installed electric fences in the Dibër area. This step helped shepherds and beekeepers safeguard their farms and pastures, easing their daily life in this magnificent mountainous region.

Electric fences are bridges between nature and people:

They shield the bees from bears, preserving honey production and the ecosystem that sustains greenery.

They ensure livestock grows peacefully, keeping alive the heritage of pastoral traditions.

They create clean and safe farms, welcoming tourists and visitors eager to experience rural life.
