📍 Elbasan &Librazhd, 4-5 June 2025 – World Environment Day

🌿 As part of the BeMed+ project and its visibility strategy, we organized an awareness activity with young people in Librazhd and local stakeholders in municipality of Elbasan and Librazhd.

📚 In an open environmental education session with teachers and high school students, we discussed the challenges of plastic pollution and the role youth can play as responsible citizens. Students were also introduced to the Plastic Origins survey platform, presented by SFE.

🤝 In addition, informative and consultative meetings were held with representatives of the Municipality and the HoReCa sector në Elbasan dhe Librazhd, to exchange ideas and sustainable practices toward a plastic-free city.

This activity marks a small but meaningful step in the process of drafting a local action plan to reduce plastic pollution in the Shkumbin River watershed—toward a cleaner environment and a plastic-free Mediterranean!
