Consultative Meeting on Environmental Education and CSO Networking in Librazhd

 

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of civil society in environmental education, a consultative meeting was held today in Librazhd with the participation of CSO representatives and local stakeholders.

The meeting aimed to establish a national network of civil society organizations that will work collaboratively and sustainably to promote environmental education in 9-year schools and the broader community in Albania.

Through this open dialogue, key foundations were laid for:

– Sharing experiences and best practices

– Building long-term partnerships among organizations

– Drafting a joint action framework to actively involve CSOs in educational institutions

The meeting was organized in the framework of the project “Environmental Protection – Education and Behavioral Change toward the Environment (EP–EACH)”, funded by the Delegation of the European Union in Tirana and implemented by INCA, in partnership with the National Association of Parks of Albania (SHKPSH) and with UNICEF as an associate partner.

A project designed to empower communities and educational institutions toward a greener, more inclusive, and sustainable education system.
