World Environment Day

In the framework of World Environment Day (June 5th), INCA in cooperation with Tirana International Airport (TIA) organized one day training on environmental education with the teachers of elementary schools of the area around the airport. After the training, one of the participating teachers organized an open class on environmental issues. The next day a group of pupils from the Rinas elementary school wrote an awareness raising letter to the mayor of the Nikla commune drawing his attention on the possibilities with thin the local government to contribute on improving the quality of environment within the school and surrounding areas.
