Talk show in the frame of the project “Supporting the proposed trans-boundary biosphere...

In the frame of the project “Supporting the proposed trans-boundary biosphere reserve of lake Skadar/Shkodra through a participatory approach”, part of the EU- IPA Cross-Border program Albania-Montenegro, 2007- 2013, the Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA) and the Trans-boundary Forum of Shkodra/Skadar Lake have organized a talk show in the premises of the TV1–Channel in Shkodra, in the “Open” TV Program, directed and moderated by the journalist Simon Shkreli. 

During the talk show is stressed that this project is aiming at the adaption of the Shkodra Lake ecosystems protection in accordance with the social and cultural development in the area. The Biosphere reserve of Shkodra Lake will be the first case of the transbaundary protected development area in this part of Europe. In this way Shkodra lake will be part of the sustainable development process, preserving its attributes and contributing to the economic development of the area as well as. This project will create a new report between the MAN & Biosphere with mutual benefits. 

The talk show was attended by: Mr. Zamir DEDEJ- project team leader, Mr. Genti Kromidha –project coordinator, Mr. Pellumb ABESHI – General Director for Policies in the MoEFWA and Mr. Mahir Hoti-Chairman of the TFSL in Shkodra, Albania.
