Today in Elbasan, participants from institutions, organizations, and local businesses came together for an interactive training session on the OSPAR River Protocol. Through discussion, reflection, and hands-on guidance, we explored the impact of plastic pollution in river ecosystems and how to monitor it effectively.

A day of learning and preparation—setting the stage for action!

Tomorrow, September 12, we continue with a cleanup and monitoring action along two segments of the Shkumbin River:

Librazhd – 09:00

Elbasan – 13:00

This activity is organized by the Surfrider Foundation Europe, the Institute for Nature Conservation in Albania (INCA), in partnership with AGRIEN in Librazhd and the Agency of Sport and Tourism in Elbasan.
