Third Meeting of the Network for Nature Protection

The Network for the Nature Protection held its third meeting on October 7, 2013  at the premises of the Organisation “Environmental Protection” in Kukes. The network is supported by SENiOR-A project, funded by the Swedish Governemnt and implemented by REC Albania.

Representatives from six network organizations attended the meeting: INCA - Tirana, Korca Green & Clean, Environmental Protection - Kukes, Friendship - Ulez; Adriatic - Vlora, Iliria - Tirana; Forum Lake - Shkoder). The aim of the meeting was to assess the progress of the on-going work as well as generate new ideas for next year\'s program activites. There were several themes proposed from INCA for further discussions such as biodiversity, protected areas, water, etc; while FSLSH, Clean & Green and Environmental Protection focused on transboundary waters such as the Drin river and transboundary lakes. The meeting approved also the new Logo of the Network for the Nature Protection.
