Community Action in Protected Areas

- INCA, CELIM and AdRZM Berat, with the support of the ACAP Project, along with “22 Tetori” and “Zihni Toska” Schools in Berat, organized an event for the importance of protecting wild habitats and their role in nature.
The kids also showed their work in nature conservation, by making paintings and exposing them.
Some of these materials were gifted to the Interactive Center, which is near AdRZM Berat.

Let's celebrate this day with the new generations, who have to know and love organisms in water, or land ecosystems.
Students from the Balil Pelari School in Orikum, joined our initiative to get acquainted with some of the species of Albania, especially those of Llogara National Park, getting acquainted with the ways of monitoring them through camera traps located in the park.
-Even students from the lower grades (1st and 2nd grades of Balil Pelari School in Orikum), for the ACAP Project and with the help of INCA, although their lessons still aren’t connected with the environment around, they still become part of the activities related to giving messages about nature, while also taking concrete action, such as planting trees.
- In frame of World Energy Efficiency Day, the Hasan Mwhilli School -Dukat, refered on the physics program, built solar panels with recyclable materials, giving an example of one of the positive effects of energy saving and the positive that it brings, reducing environmental impacts.
-Although we are facing a very difficult situation for humanity connected with the Covid-19 crisis and we hope that this situation will end as quickly as possible, let us think for mother nature and give to her an important place in this situation.
Pupils at Zihni Toska School - Berat with their techer Blerina Mehilli Kurti, in the framework of ACAP project and with INCA support, joined environmental education even in these difficult conditions, giving and providing valuable and important messages for nature, as you can see in the photos below. Their work remains invaluable and once this situation is over we can return even more motivated that perhaps the messages nature gives us can be heard, since once again we realized how weak we are if we just want to move forward without thinking about nature Shkolla "Zihni Toska" Berat
