Trans - boundary Protected Areas

On September 13, Dr. Genti Kromidha, had a presentation at theWorkshop on Trans-boundary Protected Areas, held in Shkodra, Albania form September 12-14, 2011. The workshop, organized in the framework of the project “Environment for people in the Dinaric Arc, jointly implemented by IUCN, WWF and SNV, was meant to create an understanding of modern trans-boundary protected areas concept in Bjeshkёt e Namuna /Prokletije region.

Dr. Kromidha presentation highlighted some of the main results of the study “Assessment of the most valuable areas for biodiversity and opportunities for cross border development in the Bjeshkёt e Namuna/Prokletije area” carried out by INCA in the frame of this project.
