The marine park of Porto Palermo

On December 9, 2013, at the premises of Himara Municipality Council, INCA in collaboration with the local environmental NGO \"Adriatic\"-Vlora and Himara Municipality, organized a meeting entitled "Preparation of documentation for the announcement of the Marine Park of Porto Palermo".
This meeting was held in the framework of the program "Support to Environmental Civil Society Organizations in Albania (Senior-A)" implemented by the Regional Environmental Center - REC Albania and funded by the Swedish Government. The aim of the meeting was to make local community aware about the project "Protection of biodiversity and management of protected areas", the progress and performance of such a comprehensive process, the exchange of ideas and community hearings on this area, as well as its importance and values.
