Communication and Education strategy and outreach

According to the project “Sustainable economic activities in Karaburun-Sazan MPA, Albania” was developed the workshop on “Communication and Education strategy and outreach”. The objective of this 2 days training was to define the milestones issues on communication strategy, target audiences, road map on communication and education and all other key elements necessary to draft the strategy on communication. The workshop was lead by the international expert Corinne Brunois with the participation of the core team of the project, INCA Communication officer, PPNEA Communication officer and the local communication expert, from SEEP local environmental NGO in Vlora, part of the planning team established for this project. 

The workshop was organized in an interactive way, what helped the participants screen the situation and think for the next years. The strategy will be developed by INCA-s staff  in collaboration with the local communication expert and will be implemented this summer by the local expert and INCA. The local expert has some experience with education and has a wide range of volunteers. Volunteers with be actively engaged during summer season to develop the strategy. The presence of PPNEA team in this workshop is considered as a great opportunity for starting collaboration with PPNEA project “Land of eagles and castles”, in communication and look for emerging activities and co contribution.
